Security Systems Apprentice

Security Systems Career route

As an apprentice working for an Electronic Security or Fire Systems company, you will learn how to install and test a variety of systems, repair faults and explain to customers how to use them.

As a qualified installer you will start to earn around £16,000 – £20,000 per year and will progress to running your own jobs, specifying the best equipment to meet the clients’ requirements. There will be opportunities to become a supervisor or manager yourself and you might even want to run your own business.
